3 mois–12 ans: (10–)15(–20) mg/kg/j., max. 600 mg/j.
0–3 mois: individuelle.
Infections non mycobactériennes
En association avec d'autres antibiotiques.
>12 ans: 600–1200 mg/j. en 2 prises.
<12 ans: 10–20 mg/kg/j., max. 450 mg/j. lors de traitement chronique.
Prévention de la méningite à méningocoques
Durée du traitement: 2 j.
>18 ans, 12–18 ans et >60 kg: 600 mg 2×/j.
12–18 ans et <60 kg, 1 mois–12 ans: 10 mg/kg 2×/j.
<1 mois: 5 mg/kg 2×/j.
Brucellose
Durée du traitement: 6 sem.
>18 ans: 600–900 mg 1×/j. le matin en association à 200 mg de doxycycline 1×/j. le soir avec le repas.
8–18 ans: 10–20 mg/kg/j. en 1–2 prises (max. 900 mg/j.) en association à 4 mg/kg de doxycycline 1×/j. (max. 200 mg/j.).
<8 ans: 10–20 mg/kg/j. en 1–2 prises (max. 900 mg/j.) en association à 6–8 mg/kg/j. de triméthoprime et 30–40 mg/kg/j. de sulfaméthoxazole en 1–2 prises.
