Übliche Dosierung
>12 J. oder >50 kg: 1×tgl. 1–2(–4) g.
15 Tage–12 J. und <50 kg: 1×tgl. 20–80 mg/kg (i.v. >50 mg/kg: als Inf.).
<15 Tage: 1×tgl. 20–max. 50 mg/kg.
Lyme Stadien II, III
>2 J.: 1×tgl. 50 mg/kg–max. 2 g während 14 Tagen.
Meningitis
28 Tage–12 J.: initial 1×tgl. 100 mg/kg (max. 4 g), dann reduzieren nach Identifizierung des Erregers.
Perioperative Prophylaxe
Einmalige Dosis von 1–2 g 30–90 Min. vor Eingriff.
• Gonorrhoe.
• Lyme-Borreliose.
• Harnwegsinfektion.
