Therapie
Antihypotonika > Sympathomimetika > Midodrin
Indikation
Orthostatische Hypotonie.
Dosierung
Letzte Dosis min. 4 h vor Schlafen.
Funktionelle Hypotonie: >12 J.: 2×tgl. 1 Tabl. oder 7 Tr., Erhalt: 2×tgl. ½–2 Tabl. oder 3–15 Tr.
Iatrogene Hypotonie: >12 J.: 2–3×tgl. 1 Tabl. oder 7 Tr.
Schwere Hypotonie: >12 J.: erste Dosis 30–45 Min. vor dem Aufstehen, initial 3×tgl. 1 Tabl., evtl. wöch. erhöhen, max. 30 mg tgl.
Funktionelle Hypotonie: >12 J.: 2×tgl. 1 Tabl. oder 7 Tr., Erhalt: 2×tgl. ½–2 Tabl. oder 3–15 Tr.

Kontraindikation
Schwere organische Herzerkrankung, Hypertonie, hypotone Kreislaufstörung mit hypertoner Reaktion im Stehtest, Arrhythmien, Phäochromozytom, akute Nierenerkrankung, schwere Niereninsuffizienz, schwere obliterierende oder spastische Gefässerkrankung, Engwinkelglaukom, Harnwegsobstruktion, Harnretention, BPH mit Restharn, proliferative diabetische Retinopathie, Hyperthyreose. Schwangerschaft, Stillzeit.
