Übliche Dosierung
Erw., Kinder >40 kg: 1,5–3(–max. 6) g tgl. in 3–4 Gaben.
Kinder ≤40 kg und ≥8 Lebenstage: 50–100 mg/kg/Tag in 3–4 Gaben, max. 2 g tgl., max. Einzeldosis: 50 mg/kg.
Unkomplizierte HWI, Gonorrhö
Erw., Kinder >40 kg: einmalige Dosis von 3 g.
Endokarditis-Prophylaxe
>10 J.: einmalige Dosis von 3 g 1 h vor Eingriff.
Kinder <10 J.: einmalige Dosis von 1,5 g 1 h vor Eingriff.
Lyme-Borreliose Stadium I
Erw.: 3–4×tgl. 750 mg während 12 Tagen.
Kinder: 50 mg/kg/Tag während 12 Tagen.
Eradikation von H. pylori
Erw.: 2×tgl. 750–1000 mg während 10–14 Tagen in Kombination mit einem 2. Antibiotikum und einem PPI.
