CMV-Retinitis: >18 J.: Induktionstherapie: 3×tgl. 60 mg/kg oder 2×tgl. 90 mg/kg während ca. 2–3 Wo.; Erhalt: initial 1×tgl. 90 mg/kg, bei guter Verträglichkeit evtl. bis auf 1×tgl. 120 mg/kg erhöhen; bei Progression der Retinitis unter Erhaltungstherapie evtl. Induktionstherapie wiederholen.
Herpes simplex-Infektion: >18 J.: 3×tgl. 40 mg/kg während 2–3(–max. 6) Wo.
