Prävention von H. simplex-Rezidiven (immunkompetente Patienten): >18 J.: 1×tgl. 500 mg (≥10 Rezidive/Jahr: 2×tgl. 250 mg), erneute Beurteilung: nach max. 12 Mon.
Prävention von H. simplex-Rezidiven (immunsupprimierte Patienten): >18 J.: 2×tgl. 500 mg, erneute Beurteilung: nach max. 12 Mon.
CMV-Prophylaxe: >12 J.: 4×tgl. 2 g während 90 Tagen oder mehr.
