Therapie
Neuroleptika > Konventionelle Neuroleptika > Thioxanthene
Indikation
Akute oder chronische Schizophrenie bei motorisch ruhigen Patienten, Psychosen, die mit Autismus, Negativismus, Apathie und gesenkter Stimmungslage einhergehen, psychotische Zustände (v.a. therapieresistente Fälle), Paraphrenie, organische Psychosen.
Dosierung
Schizophrenie und verwandte Psychosen: >18 J.: initial: 3–15 mg tgl. in 2–3 Gaben, evtl. steigern bis 40 mg tgl.; Erhalt: 1×tgl. 5–20 mg morgens.
Psychotische Zustände (v.a. therapieresistente Fälle): >18 J.: initial 1–4×tgl. 15–30 mg, dann individuell in 1–3 Gaben/Tag.

Kontraindikation
ZNS-Depression, komatöse Zustände. Schwangerschaft «FI», Stillzeit.
